Today we went on the 52 km long route from Prößdorf to Markleeberg on the 7 lakes hike.
The event has everything from small family tours to the 107 km crazy tour/torture.

Training hike from Lößnitz to Stein Castle, via the Wismutschacht 371, which was once the deepest mine in Europe and mined uranium until 1990, to the Prinzenhöhle and back again.
A stop at the Prinzenhöhle forester's lodge was very good. The two small climbs were tough, but otherwise very pleasant to walk.

Today's sporting challenge. Start would have been 6 p.m. after a working day. We started at 7 p.m. with a search for a parking space, a beer and dinner. It stayed dry until sunset. During the night it rained again and again. But the roads were consistently very good.

Oli has planned a very demanding tour starting from Selva. The ascents and descents are all not without problems. The rain after 15 km made it very slippery. The rain poncho was the faithful companion. After every ascent you were rewarded with beautiful views... Next time at 🌞
