Wychbury Hillfort and the Temple of Theseus
There's a lot going on on Wychbury Hill.
1) The graffiti "who put Bella in the Wych Elm". A reminder of a 1940s unsolved murdered.

Stanley Park to Stanley Docks, Liverpool
An AZ City Walk that takes in the two football stadiums. Anfield a riot of street art. Onto Everton Rise for the best views across the city. Then drop down via an arts and craft street of houses to the Leeds/Liverpool canal, the Docks and the Everton ground.

Rail Trail - Smethwick Galton Bridge to The Hawthorns
The two stations are only 1.2 miles apart but with a bit of imagination and planning, its possible to get a very decent walk out of an Urban area. Through Dartmouth Park, into Sandwell Valley Country Park and back through Handsworth Cemetery. All busy roads crossed by footbridge.

Uplyme to Lyme Regis
A fine, circular walk - taking in the Cannington Viaduct and the South West Coast Path over the Ware Cliffs.
A drop into Lyme Regis for all the pleasures on offer and then a fine walk along the River Lim back to the start at Uplyme.

The Old Royal Library, Malvern
A short but exhilarating (read: hilly) ascent of Worcestershire Beacon, via St Annes Well. Then along the central ridge to the Wyche cutting and back along the western flanks of the hills.

Kingswear to Coleton Fishacre
A race against the clock if you park in Dartmouth. Longest available parking is 4 hours and you have two ferry crossing to complete :-)

Burgh Island from Ayrmer Cove
A short, easy walk from a NT Car Park to Burgh Island and the Pilchard Inn. Devons oldest pub. Not without its faults, but a superb location that shouldn't be missed.
