Oddingley Murders Walk
A route that seeks out the locations of a 1806 double murder. A thug was hired by farmers to murder the unpopular Reverend Parker. The farmers then murdered the murdered, his body not discovered for another 24 years. No one was found guilty of either crime.

Kingston near Lewes
Beautiful village - with C15th church and pub. A climb onto Swanborough Hill for a long stretch on the South Downs Way.
Drop down to Rodmell to walk under the shadow of the hills.

Lewes for Mount Caburn
A perfect walk from a fascinating town. It doesn't take long to leave the people behind and head up to the down land - across a golf course and complete a circuit of a natural hollow. The peak is the Iron Age hillfort of Mount Caburn.

Slow Way - Highley to Bewdley
Easy route from the Slow Ways website - simply pick up the river Severn in Highley and follow it downstream to Bewdley.
The Harbour Inn Arley is open all day and conveniently half way.

South Staffordshire Railway - From Himley
The southern half of the SSR Walk - on a path with less potholes than the road you drove in on. Swap over to the Worcestershire/Staffordshire canal to reach Trysull. Agricultural fields and the canal again to return to the car park.
