Cakes and Ales - Worcestershire - Stage 2
British Camp to Upton-Upon-Severn
The guidebook wants to add four miles of the ups and downs of the hills from Worcestershire Beacon. I was time constrained, so started at British Camp. A short climb, followed by a long drop down onto Castlemorton Common.

Wenlock Edge from Rushbury
A short but beautiful walk along the Western side of Wenlock Edge. Great view make up for a lack of facilities. Take your own lunch.

Classic Hill Walk - start from free parking laybys on the road at Hazler. You will be cursing me for the stiff climb at first but will hopefully love the views and the easy ridge walking once on the top.

The Holdgate Sheela-Na-Gig
Deep in the wilds of Shropshire - indeed, following the Shropshire Way out of the Corvedale Valley up onto Wenlock Ridge. But not without it's interest.
The tiny church of Holdgate has a Sheela-Na-Gig on the south wall. If you haven't seen one before, you wont forget it!

Pole Bank and Light Hollow Spout
An excellent walk (the all are here) - the starting point is (was) a secret free car park with direct access through the field and woods (not marked on the OS Map) into the hills.
Perfect walk - gentle climbs leading to amazing views.

Pershore Bridges
A figure of 8 walk, starting from the bus stop in town.
Agricultural fields under the shadow of Bredon Hill.
A history trail around Wick. Wyke Manor is impressive and has an interesting/tragic story. Looks Tudor, was actually remodelled in 1923.

Greater Manchester Ringway - Stage 16
This is the final quarter of the Ringway - known on the official guide as "The Western Wind-down".
It's incredibly gentle (to the point of boring) walking along canals, often dissecting huge bodies of water, known locally as flashes.
Nothing of real interest (pubs) was passed.
