The starting point was the Diemel Twiste lap from Touristik-Service Bad Arolsen.
However, we didn't always stick to the given route.
We started in Helsen. From there it went through the Luisenthal about ~300m meadow, otherwise gravel roads to Massenhausen. Continue on the rest forest through the forest

We didn't fly from Massenhausen to Canstein. I donkey still had the recording on pause 🤦
Thanks to Kurt for his tour to the water treading pool near Padberg in the Diemel. And of course, the witch was already there 😆

From Helsen we followed the R6 to Wrexen and then the sign "Hardehausen".
The bison circular hiking trail around the enclosure was really a hiking trail or just something for mountain bikers 😉

Actually, we just wanted to do a little tour. Didn't really work out 😉
At Heringhausen we are partly right along the water, which is purely a footpath. It does not matter anyway. Pushing is also quite nice sometimes 😁

From Helsen I wanted to take the most direct, if not the best, route through the Luisenthal, across the meadow and along the Thiele to Massenhausen. Had to make a small detour via Gut Höhe because the route was closed due to falling branches.
From Massenhausen it was then accompanied by Gut Frederinghausen

Helsen - Massenhausen - Udorf - Canstein - Heddinghausen - Leitmar - Erlinghausen - Neudorf - Eilhausen - Kohlgrund - Udorf - Massenhausen - Mengeringhausen.
Sorry, the photos are a bit muddled.
A very nice route with mainly paved and good gravel paths. Between Leitmar and Erlinghausen we took a turn too

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and made a nice tour through fields, forests and meadows on good paths with little mud, large puddles and potholes.
Only wanting to cycle along the swimming pool side of the Twistesee on Saturday is a stupid idea. Too many pedestrians on the way 🙂

After a miserable slogging on wet leaves and mud in the forest between Luisenthal and Massenhausen (actually a very good way) we decided to only drive on asphalted paths.
The mobile phone was packed in the trouser pocket to protect it from rain and the signage for the cycle paths left a lot to be desired

Today we took advantage of the nice weather and just started cycling.

Fortunately, I only had the flat tire at Schmillinghausen, so we "only" had to push the last 6 km 😜
