Fastenmarsch 2026.03.08
Der Fastenmarsch ist eine schöne Tradition: Gemeinsam unterwegs sein, Stempel sammeln und dabei Geld für einen guten Zweck sammeln. An den einzelnen Stationen gab es nicht nur einen Stempel, sondern auch eine gute Verpflegung – sodass für jeden etwas dabei war. Auch das Wetter hat heute gut mitgespielt, sodass viele Kilometer zusammengekommen sind und der Tag für alle Beteiligten zu einem gelungenen Erlebnis wurde.

Eine Tour durchs Winter Wonderland
Nachdem es ein paar Tage keinen Schnee gab, war er heute endlich wieder da. Da ich am Wochenende viele andere Dinge zu erledigen habe, habe ich den Vormittag genutzt, um noch einmal eine Rundreise durch das Winter Wonderland zu machen. Bevor die Frage aufkommt: Es war eine Tour ohne Pause.

Kuchen ohne Eier zu backen ging bei diesem Rezept leider nicht. Also machte ich mich zunächst auf den Weg zum Eierautomaten am Untenende, um dort Eier zu besorgen. Nachdem der Kuchen gebacken war, drehte ich noch eine kleine Runde in Richtung Friesenbrücke, teilweise abseits der festen Wege. Das führte dazu, dass nach meiner Ankunft erst einmal eine gründliche Reinigung nötig war. Natürlich erst nach einem Stück Kuchen und einer Tasse Tee.

HomeOffice Sprint 2026.01.22
Home Office ohne Bewegung und eine Webinar/Meeting nach dem andern, da muss man mal raus. Zusätzlich die neue Kette und Ritzelkasette eingefahren, war ziemlich kalt und windig.

Der erste Arbeitstag im neue Jahr.
Frohes und gesundes neues Jahr euch allen! Die erste Tour 2026 hatte alles dabei: Sonne ☀️, Regen 🌧️, Schnee ❄️ – und natürlich ordentlich Gegenwind 💨. Euch viele schöne und pannenfreie Kilometer!

Today we took full advantage of the wonderful autumn weather and headed towards the Friesenbrücke (Frisian Bridge). My wife and I went on a leisurely tour – with the goal of driving along the dike as little as possible and definitely crossing the bridge.

Today at 2:00 p.m., the certificates for the city cycling competition were handed out.
Shortly before I was about to set off on my bike, a downpour began. After it passed and the sun shone, I set off.
I then met my fellow competitors at Mühleplatz, and congratulations again on this achievement.

Today, October 3rd.
Off to the Rhaude Mill for fried potatoes and herring.
From there, to the Schatteburg Melkhuske, including the Schatteburg Plant and Perennial Exchange/Hobby Market.
Coffee and cake.
On the way home, despite the strong wind, I stopped by my dear mother-in-law's to warm up.
Warmed up again, I quickly headed home.

Hi Fred, you were really going fast, I haven't managed an average speed like that yet.
A new chain and sprockets already? My first set lasted 15,000 km, and the current one has already done 14,000 km.
