Dear little walk, it's doable even without a motor. However, the church is no longer accessible; it's privately owned and heavily guarded. You can only see it from the path.

A chance to see the monkeys. You can get unusual honey from the friendly beekeeper, and rare Moroccan goat cheese from the chèvrerie. The tour itself isn't very attractive. Bicycle paths aren't provided throughout Morocco.

After the heavy rains in September 2024, many paths are no longer in good condition, and it's easy to get a little lost. But that's no problem in the beautiful Palmerai, which is used for agriculture by friendly people with cute donkeys.

The beginning is a bit bleak. But there's no other entrance from this side. As soon as you leave the wide "path," it becomes wonderfully green and alpine. Unless it's flooding, be sure to make the detour into the canyon.

Honey, cheese, milk, ham, eggs, chicken, beef, beer, bread, pasta and so on... everything is regional, fresh and delicious. And you can almost always see the beautiful castle ruins of Hohenfreiberg and Eisenberg.

One of the most beautiful hikes of my life. We had to turn around and take the shortcut because there was still so much snow up there. But it was worth every minute and every inch!❤️❤️❤️
