It was one of those days again when glider pilots keep both feet on the ground because of the weather conditions. So we dared to take our bikes from the Burg Feuerstein airfield, which is beautifully situated on a high plateau, into the 400m lower area. Knowing that we have to go up again ;-)))

Cross-country flying was actually the order of the day, but warm air restricted the hoped-for lifting processes. A nice opportunity to visit a pilot friend at the nearby Borlefzen campsite and enjoy the scenery along the way.

With the coloring of the leaves in nature, the glider pilots reduce their activities. Time to enjoy the fantastically beautiful weather on the bike. So it went today with dear friends along the Else, Werre and the Weser to the Porta Westfalica. Numerous garden cafés line the path. So we indulged ourselves
