One of my favorite stops: great weather. Rolling sometimes. Somewhat challenging hills, but different landscapes. Public holiday here too, so few cars and lots of bikes! 🌧️ Mixed day: skipped Bonn (not too much regret), left late again but slept well, especially didn't find what I was looking for in Badneuenahr. And then completely rinsed, rain almost all day, so also skipped the nice campsite recommended for cyclists south of Köln (camping-berger.koeln) and to dry

Pont de l'Ascension 2023 semi improvised from the Loiret to the Aube, via the very hilly Yonne. Excellent cycle paths between Troyes and the lakes then around, which I recommend the tour (Lac d'Orient and Lac du Der)
