Today's tour took us with the RV 19elf Rosbach to the Zeitgeist in Florstadt. The outward journey took us in a curve through the Wetterau to the destination, a beautiful route through nature.

With the RV 19elf Rosbach we went on one of our classic tours to the Wetterau lakes. The lakes were originally brown coal mines, but today they are a beautiful local recreation area and a sanctuary for many bird species. Today our city bike tour went to the bird of prey park in Bad Nauheim. A beautiful gem on the outskirts of Bad Nauheim. A small club has found its home here and maintains a beautiful little facility. We had an interesting tour with lots of information and anecdotes. As every year, we have this destination

The weather was already good yesterday, and today we started the first round of 2024.
From Rosbach along the Nidda to Bad Vilbel and then back via Petterweil.
Surprise in Bad Vilbel: the railway underpass along the Nidda is finished and open. All that remains of the temporary bridge are the supports. Makes

Today we went on a tour via Preungesheim and Bad Vilbel when the weather was nice. There was a little surprise in Berkersheim, the underpass of the railway line at the riding facility is open again. Makes crossing the train line much easier than using the elevators at the S-Bahn station. Can stay like that.

The new cycle path from Wöllstadt to Okarben is ready. Harry and I took advantage of a break in the rain today for a test drive.
The route has become good, the connection to Bad Vilbel is quicker and shorter. Thoroughly recommended.
A longer stretch leads along the B3, but it is quite loud there. Entertainment

On October 4th, ws went on this year's recycling tour with the Rosbach cycling club and 7 participants to the recycling center (GWR) in Frankfurt Griesheim. The tour led via Petterweil and Harheim further along the Nidda to Griesheim. The traffic routing and creative interpretation of the etiquette rules

After we decided on the "small extension" we alternately followed the recommendations from Komoot and the signs for Waren.
It's easy to cycle on the Müritz, so I was able to switch off the engine for long stretches.

Today we planned a round trip south of the Müritz. We made our first stop after 5km in Neu Gaarz. Today there is a harvest festival in the small settlement and village community is lived here. At first we wanted to choose a different route to Rechlin. After a few km, Komoot said "in 2km turn left onto the single track"... We normally can't get through that with the recumbent bike. So reschedule and return via the outward route. But even there there were indications of single track, although

Our first tour on the Müritz took us from Rechlin to Waren (Müritz). Beautifully through the forest. Partly it was a tunnel of bushes and trees. The highlight were the three viewing points above the path and the port of Waren.

We recently heard from a friend about Neuffer's natural garden in Oberdorffelden, a large private garden that is also open to guests.
Yesterday we went on a test tour there before we showed up there with a larger group from the cycling club.
