We checked the webcam in the morning - you could see a thick blanket of fog falling over the mountain towards the pass to the right of the Hirschenkogel. Please note: The Dirndlalm at the highest point and other alpine pastures on the return route, which are open in winter, were closed in July 2025. I was only able to quench my thirst at the Wastlalm. This is just before the top station of the lift that took us back down.
