We did the Wilder Weg together with a tour to the Urfttalsperre. But because we thought the Wild Path itself was so great, I saved this part of our tour separately.

The Celtic path is described in the brochure “Gerolsteiner Land circular hiking trails”. Unfortunately, the app mentioned is apparently no longer available.

The Anglesey Coastal Path is 200km long. We hiked the route from Red Wharf Bay to Moelfre. Especially the part up to Traeth Bychan is exceptionally beautiful. The path is well maintained and varied. Depending on the tide, you can alternatively walk along the beautiful sandy beach, which we did. The last

The view even more beautiful than I imagined. You are incredibly lucky with the weather! Menairstrasse and Angelsey can probably be seen on the west side. Is the chain of hills on the horizon already Ireland? Whereby 200 km distant view probably not?

We did this tour after the Wilder Weg, which I can highly recommend!
Of course the Urfttalsperre is interesting and worth visiting. The forest path was a nice immersion in nature, but not a highlight in itself.
Unfortunately, the aircraft noise is very present due to the many large airports near the Eifel
