From kilometer 17, the route runs directly along the cliffs – along a partially narrow dirt road. At one point, you even have to carry your bike across a small stream. If you're pushing yourself to your physical limits, I recommend taking the route from Hansapark along the main road to Neustadt.

Today we set off – all the way around Hamburg Airport.
Out and about with my boys – not a huge distance, we planned to do around 20 kilometers.
But due to a few system errors on Komoot (yes, they were probably my fault 😅), the whole thing took a bit longer.
On top of that, we were hit by a few nasty thunderstorms
