We did the tour as a family (kids 7 and 9 years old) with a snack break and delicious apple strudel it took us 7.5 hours. The starting point was the gondola parking lot. The panorama path is very nicely laid out and easy to walk on. Walking shoes are compulsory.

Four of us did the tour. My two kids 7 and 9 just made it. The last 3 km are also possible by bus. Walking shoes are a must have fun.

The start from the campsite Stein is through the forest over hill and dale about 4 km afterwards gravel paths and asphalt. Tour is not quite as indicated .. at the dead end it is best to go up to the wide forest path
