The tour is very strenuous for regular bikes, as it involves significant uphill and downhill sections. We stopped the ride toward Bitburg and returned via the country road.
The route shouldn't be a problem for e-bikers.

I recommend using the Luxembourg site for most of it, as the motifs are really beautiful.

Unfortunately, there's no safe way back on the German side. The bike path in Bollendorf no longer exists, and you'd have to use the country road. I found the Lux side safer.

From the start, it's a steep climb to the temple.

The main trails are very busy with mountain bikes.
Basically a nice hike, especially when visibility is good.
