Kanufahren auf der Werse 🛶
Am Anfang waren wir noch sehr unkoordiniert und haben es nicht geschafft, gerade zu fahren. Häufig sind wir durch Geäst, das übers Wasser hing, durchgefahren und hatten ein paar Mal Bodenkontakt oder haben Steine und Baumstämme gerammt. Zum Ende hin sind wir eingespielter gewesen, aber hatten nichtsdestotrotz noch Probleme, in einer geraden Linie zu fahren. Es war insgesamt sehr lustig.

Almost exactly a year later, we paddled on the Werse River with our grandchildren again today.
It was a lot of fun and a lot of funny comments from the "crew."

Jutta and Thomas and some other komootlers are involved in the "Heart's Desires" campaign. Dressed up as (nice) witches, they collected donations today to be able to grant a (perhaps final) wish to very sick children.
A very good commitment implemented

Pokhara is a medium-sized city, located on a beautiful lake. The town is more modern than what I've seen before and has a 3 km long shopping street with cute shops.
This morning's trip on the wedding pedal boat to the wedding island is actually only reserved for newlyweds and their families. Weddings

The Imperial Palace in Gorhka was built in the 16th century as the seat of the respective Nepalese emperor and is located on a hill of 1,450 meters.

On the last day of the trip I wanted to relax and unwind on a very strenuous hike to Castelmola. The small town with just 1000 inhabitants is idyllically located at an altitude of 550 meters on the summit of a rocky spur, Monte Tauro. The way up (and back down again) is practically exclusively on serpentine
