A day off, after all: breakfast with delicious croissants at the campsite, leftovers for lunch since the campsite restaurant was closed, and an impromptu dinner in the evening since the restaurant wasn't open, despite Google's advice! We bought whatever the local mini-market had to offer!

Today, too, we had a wonderful tour with warm temperatures and sunshine.
First, we continued about 15 km on the Via Verde del Val de Zafan, through at least 10 tunnels and over just as many bridges. Then we continued along the Ebro Valley for a bit and then climbed with beautiful views of the Ebro Valley

The weather was like yesterday: sunny, cool, and very windy. The difference was that today we mostly rode southwest, and therefore mostly had a headwind or a crosswind. Combined with the distance and the elevation gain, this became a truly strenuous experience.

The weather has changed. After a heavy thunderstorm on Sunday (a rest day with lots of reading and good food), it was noticeably cooler today. 10°C in the morning, 14°C on the descent, and 20°C in the afternoon.
