Phew, folks, that was a real challenge on day 9. We went from Rengsdorf back to the Rhine to Leutesdorf, then to Rheinbrohl and then on to Bad Hönnigen. And as soon as we got back to the Rhine, the trail showed its face again. Narrow paths, climbing, tough ascents and above all, fantastic views :-) I

Day 8 and 2/3 done. We went through my home village of Vallendar with freshly washed laundry via Wüstenhof and Weitersburg to Sayn. There we had a decent penne al forno. From there we continued via Neuwieder Zoo, Heimbach Weiss, Oberbieber to Rengsdorf. As the Rheinsteig was closed in two places, 28

Hi everyone, day 7 is done too. It was a great stage. We went from Braubach to Lahnstein through the Ruppertsklamm to Koblenz, then to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and finally to my hometown of Vallendar. It went really well today and was a lot of fun. See you tomorrow for day 8.
