It was my first time riding an e-bike to Schliersee. There are a few hills to climb, first to the Großer Stein, then to Niklasreut and Sonnenreut. After Wörnsmühle, you can look forward to a descent. From there, you ride steadily up and down through beautiful scenery until you reach your destination

It was a Sunday and the weather was beautiful, so other pedestrians and cyclists were naturally enjoying themselves as well. The ever-changing, beautiful views of the other bank made up for it.

The tour is simply fantastic, even at 28 degrees Celsius. It was pleasant to cycle through the Traisental Valley. The moated castle in Wasserburg is private, but I was allowed to take photos. I highly recommend the ZEITLOS ice cream parlor in Herzogenburg. In Neusiedl, I stopped for a snack at a Buschenschanke
