Today we drove again with the Kirnitzschtalbahn to the final stop at the waterfall.
From there we started in the direction of the cowshed.

We took the Kirnitzschtalbahn from Bad Schandau to the Lichtenhainer waterfall. It's a nice old track, well worth it.
From the Lichtenhain waterfall....of which we were so disappointed that we didn't even take a photo...today's tour first took us briefly along the Malerweg, which we left shortly afterwards

The last stage led us almost exclusively along the Bode.
Sometimes a narrow path, sometimes a forest path, sometimes a stony rocky path.
Few places to stop for refreshments along the way.
Shortly before Thale there was a beautiful beer garden right on the Bode.

This stage took us from Königshütte past several reservoirs through a small witch village and along the Bode again and again.
At the end of the tour was a huge dam wall with a suspension bridge, zip line and free fall pendulum.
The path was relatively normal to walk, only shortly before the finish line

A really great tour to go comfortably, almost always along a creek that follows us.
However, from kilometer 18 it was again quite demanding and exhausting because the last 4 km it was a "near-natural path that is difficult to walk on" was first narrow down and arrived at the bottom steeply up again, that

Today I went on the Wäller Tour Brexbachschluchtenweg in great weather.
When I came by car, I was enchanted by the idyllic little village of Grenzau.
I came across a narrow bridge to a parking lot below Grenzau Castle. From the parking lot to the castle it was about 1km uphill.
At least one gets warm right

Yesterday we made the area around Moselkern and Eltz Castle unsafe.
In Moselkern there is a large, easily accessible and free car park. From here we walked a short way through the village to the beginning of the Moselsteig.
Here it was a few meters in altitude on a short way up.
