Today we headed to the southern tip of Corsica.
Bonifatio is the southernmost town. Half town, half fortress, and well worth seeing, right on the cliffs. Strolling through the narrow streets of the upper town, across the former barracks grounds to the cemetery, continually opens up new views and gives a glimpse into the town's eventful history.

The hike starts at the southern tip of Corsica, Pertusato. I did not see a connection with public transport, so the transport has to be organized. We had a transfer bus.

From the parking lot it goes down to the sea, where there are beaches. Here is a nice place to rest and swim.
