We used this path for the descent from Kramer via the Stepbergalm. Great trail, lots of hairpin bends, but no difficulty. The waterfall on the way is a great photo opportunity.

A wonderful mountain tour😊!
The starting point was the "Bayernhalle".
If you feel like it, you can take the "Königstand" with you!
From the summit descent to the "Stepbergalm" via the "Gelbes Gwänd" path and then back to the starting point.
It was a long tour, but very varied with many beautiful viewpoints!

Very difficult ascent and descent without any major highlights, but with very few other people. There are no traffic jams or crowds, but also no gondola to take you up or down. At the top you are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Zugspitze and the Eibsee.

Very worthwhile circular hike above Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Very nice views of the Wetterstein Mountains, and further up there are also views to the north.
It was also nice that the Stepbergalm was still open (this year until October 15th, 2023!)

A nice long hike on Garmisch's "local mountain" with fantastic views. Take enough to drink with you! (Stepbergalm only opens at 10 a.m.; Almwirtschaft St. Martin is closed on Tuesdays!)
