The gravel road at the beginning is easy to walk in the early morning. To avoid the pasture, we then turned off track a bit past the Kukatschhütte towards Hinteralm. This narrow hiking trail is rarely used, sometimes uphill, then downhill again over beautiful alpine meadows, past a few water holes with newts, tadpoles and even a grass snake. …
