From the travertine terraces near Gutenberg, we hiked the Lange Steige trail in the biosphere reserve up to the Swabian Alb plateau. The weather was perfect today, and we were able to admire the view from the Schreckenfelsen rock formation down into the valley. The route was challenging, but traversing the sea of rocks was well worth it.
