The road to the lake was partially closed, but the fact that the lake was still frozen surprised us. Up around 20 degrees down around still frosty and frozen.
Will only edit all the pictures when I get home, maybe a few more will come

Always worth a hike, and there's always something new to discover.

Those who can't or don't want to hike the entire route, or only want to hike part of it, can take the "Bähnle" (little train) from Lohberg to the Kleiner Arbersee (Little Arber Lake).

Dina and I started in rainy weather. The wetness gives the forest a very special scent and the green of the plants is incredible. We took the impassable path along the Weißer Regen (Triftsteig). Our path went over hill and dale, roots and puddles. Once around the lake (illegally🙈about a third was closed due to tree felling work).
