With sun and blue sky it started in Rottenacker. The route leads along the Danube via beautiful meadow paths, past oxbow lakes and silted-up zones. In the middle a group of storks on the meadow.
The half-timbered town of Munderkingen is also worth a visit.
A nice round in the sun, but with rather frosty temperatures. And the first March …

The charming town of Munderkingen, our starting point, is located on a bend in the Danube.
We walk out of town uphill to Grelletlinde on the Benkesberg and hike along a panoramic ridge along the edge of the Danube valley towards Neudorf. The route goes downhill along dirt roads to Rottenacker and finally back to the Danube.

Finally went running again today. Every time I had a day off, I was sick at home. My mom chose the Ice Age Trail, the Danube Loop. It was okay, but nothing earth-shattering. Lots of pretty flowers. I broke in my new hiking boots and immediately got a huge blister. Still, a very nice sunny day together. 💛☀️
