Harzdrenalin Visitor Center

Official parking is available directly on the north-west side of the Titan-RT suspension bridge. Titan-RT can also be walked on from this side. (on the Titan-RT there is currently a "one-way street" principle due to corona regulations!)

The car park is comfortable and large enough even when there is a large number of visitors.

Parking fees (as of 04/2022): 2.50 euros for a maximum of 3 hours (5.00 euros for the entire day)

When entering the parking lot, the vehicle number is automatically recorded and confirmed on an information board. The car number is then given before the exit when paying at the parking machine.

Luckily, there is a good playground in the waiting area at the entrance to Totan-RT.
The interesting play equipment distracts the kids well. We had to wait there for about 30 minutes, but thanks to the varied playground there was no "whining". 👍

Rotestein (HWN 54)

The Rotestein is a lookout point that is not easily forgotten. It can be easily reached via a hiking trail from the Stemberghaus charcoal factory and, at 505 meters high, offers a fantastic view of the Rappbodetalsperre, the largest in terms of volume in the Harz. However, you cannot see the 100 meter high dam from the Rotestein. On the other hand, when the view is clear, you can see Wurmberg and Brocken. A great vantage point, especially at sunset!
