Vandring

There is an old and a new staircase. If you want to go into the waterfall you should take the old stairs. If you just want to look, I would take the new one. I did both what I can recommend. Even if swimming in the waterfall through the cold water is really not without it, you will be richly rewarded

The Kourtaliotiko Gorge (Greek Κουρταλιώτικο φαράγγι) is a mountain range in the south of the Greek island of Crete, between the mountains of western Kouroupa and eastern Xiro. It is located in the municipality of Finikas in the regional unit of Rethymno. The bottom of the gorge is formed by the creek bed of the Megalopotamos (Μεγαλοπόταμος) or Kourtaliotis (Κουρταλιώτης), one of the ten watercourses on Crete that constantly flow down to the sea.
