Vandring

This refuge has been built by the nature and bird protection association Wenigumstadt. The small hut is part of the bird and forest nature trail and informs about the local birds. A nice place for a break and incidentally you learn something else.

This refuge was built in 1969 by the Wenigumstadt nature and bird protection association at an altitude of 261 m above sea level. For decades, the NuVSchV has been organizing its legendary meat sausage meal on December 28th. The proceeds are used to buy fields to expand the biotope on the Ried north of the Welzbach.
