Vandring
Cap Corse (Corsican Capicorsu, Italian Capo Corso) is a peninsula in northern Corsica. It is located in the Haute-Corse department.
The peninsula is about 40 km long and about 10 km wide. At its southeast end is the city of Bastia. The highest peaks are Monte Alticcione (1138 m), Monte Stello (1306 m) and Cima di e Follicie (1324 m) (with the Grotta a l'Albucciu cave). North of Cap Corse lies the small island of Giraglia, which belongs to the municipality of Ersa.

Vandring
By boat from Macinaghiu to the small village of Barcaggi for €19 per person with explanations of the formation of the special rock formations and what the Genoese towers are all about. From there back to Macinaghiu along the coast where the customs officers used to patrol. Great views and definitely not boring.
