The Toompea Gate is one of the few remains of Tallinn's medieval city walls and is an impressive sight. It is a popular meeting place for tourists and locals and a symbolic gateway to the old town.
Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Tallinn's city and churches from here. The gate also offers a good starting point for exploring the historic old town, known for its narrow, winding streets, medieval buildings and rich history.

In any case, this is a gateway to or from Toompea Hill. Take plenty of time to explore the sights on Toompea Hill or in the Lower Town. Tallinn's Old Town with its city walls is beautiful. You just have to concentrate on the sights on Toompea Hill.
