Vandring
Built in the 15th century as a moated castle with ramparts, of which still bear witness to some parts of it today. Later after sale, the buildings were used as a forester. In 1897 the older building was demolished, and the present villa was built. In the years 1993-1996, the building was renovated and established as a museum of the city Coswig.

Around 500 years ago, the Karras knights were the feudal lords of Coswig and lived in a moated castle that is said to have been on the site of today's museum.

The Karrasburg presents the history of Coswig in its permanent exhibition using numerous historical and interesting testimonies. In addition, several special exhibitions on different topics are shown every year.
