The municipality of Walenstadt is located in the very east of the beautiful Walensee. Especially beautiful is the location of the lake in the middle of a valley, surrounded by up to 1,000 meters high rocky slopes. Because the Walensee is up to 145 meters deep, it never gets warmer than 20 degrees even in summer. The cooling is guaranteed. On the shore at Walenstadt are good swimming spots with great views of the mountains.

Vandring
A beautiful place right on the Walensee. The view over the entire length of Lake Walen and the surrounding mountains is gorgeous!
On the large bank area there are many benches and also numerous picnic benches and tables and rubbish bins and there is also a public toilet.
