A beautiful market square with an old parish church serving both Catholic and Protestant denominations. The church's electricity supply remains separate to this day and is switched on and off depending on the service. The market square is dominated by the well-known old St. Martin's Fountain and the more recent "donkey" sculpture.

The Biberach market square is one of the most beautiful market squares in southern Germany and was probably built in the 12th century. The magnificent town houses all around, the donkey monument by Peter Lenk and the market fountain are worth seeing. The knight figure on the market fountain holds the Biberach city coat of arms, which was created in 1488, in its left arm - the golden beaver on a blue background. Stroll through the weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays and enjoy regional products, delicacies and Swabian specialties!
