Trugåning
At 1,329 m, the Schapbachriedel is slightly higher than its better-known neighbor the Grünstein. At this summit you sacrifice a bit of the great view for more idyll compared to the Grünstein, as the summit is in the forest. However, on the climb along the ridge you can regularly see a great view of the imposing Watzmann.
The climb is not very difficult and is well marked, so you can easily find the path even in winter when no one has been there before.
