Drentsche Aa: National Landscape and National Park. The current area of the Drentsche Aa is a so-called national landscape. The central part with about 10 000 hectares is also a national park. This dual status has no other area in the Netherlands and proves what a special feature this landscape is. The Drentsche Aa area is a diverse old cultural landscape.
In addition to cycling, you can also go hiking here.
