Scenic Circuit is the most popular walk in Bunya Mountains National Park, and is a roughly 4-kilometre moderate loop through ancient bunya pine forest. Along the way, you’ll pass several rock pools, waterfalls, and an impressive towering strangler fig. The park holds the world’s largest stand of bunya pines, and walking beneath their dome-shaped canopies is one of the most unique experiences in Queensland’s national parks. Keep an eye out for green catbirds, paradise riflebirds and red-legged pademelons as you make your way around the circuit.
