The twelve-sided structure of the Jerusalem panorama of the crucifixion of Christ is one of the most important religious works of art in Altötting. It contains the only preserved historical panorama in Germany. The panorama is a listed building and was opened in 1903 after just one year of construction. The illustration shows the events in and around Jerusalem on Good Friday.
