Vandring

The Buchenwalder Memorial, which can be seen from afar, is the burial place of thousands of concentration camp prisoners. The entrance through the large entrance tour leads into what is now the largest monument commemorating a National Socialist concentration camp in Europe. The monumental complex was built in 1958 on the south side of the Ettersberg as a national monument of the GDR.
