A little old ascent to the La Rocca plateau. Some of the steps have broken away and lots of loose stones, but families can do it easily.

Vandring
After a short ascent through a cool coniferous forest, you reach Garda's protective helper, the "Madonna del Pign". (Caution: if you hike up the steep steps from Garda, the path branches off sharply to the left at the end of the steps at a wall without signposts). The Madonna was erected on the slopes of the Rocca by the citizens of Garda as a thank you for saving their city from bombing raids during the First World War.
