An American fort from the Revolutionary War. The British overran the fort (as well as nearby Fort Clinton) and burned it to the ground, but the foundations still survive. In addition to the interpretive plaques at the foundations, there is a small, free, indoor museum with a must-see video about the battle. I highly recommend visiting on July 4, when they fire the cannons and muskets!
