We finally hiked over the Vigiljoch, Lana’s local mountain, to the Naturnser Alm, where we could enjoy a wonderful view of the Vinschgau, the Texel group and the Ötztal Alps with the glaciated summit of the Weißkugel.

Malga Naturno offers delicious dishes, splendid views and a truly enviable fresh air to those who pass by. The Kaiserschmarren they make here is almost unmatched.

Even if the ascent here is extremely long at well over 1,000 meters in altitude, the view over the Vinschgau valley from the Naturnser Alm is almost overwhelming. Insider tip: The Kaiserschmarrn is a poem!
