Vandring
When the bell rings, it breaks the silence of the grounds and calls for remembrance and reflection. The sound carries far across the rows of crosses and connects visitors with the history of the many soldiers who found their final resting place here after World War II.
The simple form of the structure suits the subdued atmosphere of this place: not a large monument, but a simple symbol that brings people together in silence.
