Beautiful Lackenakea Bay Beach (Trá Bhá Lackenakea) is quieter than nearby Barley Cove Beach. At high tide, the beach is pebbly, but when the waters recede, a stretch of golden sand is revealed. The beach is named for the 164-metre (540ft) hill to the north of the beach. Parking is on the roadside at the beach's northern end.
