Schrevenborn Manor in the Probstei region was an agricultural center for local aristocratic families; today it is privately owned and therefore not open to the public.
A particularly charming feature to passersby is the winding avenue of oak trees.
Also striking is the wide moat that completely surrounds the manor and must have once carried water.

...Heikendorf was first mentioned in 1233 – likely founded as the village of the knight Heike – and the village of Schrevenborn in 1280. These two villages, along with others, formed the noble estate of Schrevenborn. The estate belonged to the parish of Schönkirchen.
...the "noble estate" of Schrevenborn, under the squire Henneke Swin, comprised
Alt- and Neuheikendorf, as well as Muxall and Schrevendorf, from 1463 onwards.
From 1471, the holdings were reduced to Alt- and Neuheikendorf, which constituted the final boundaries until the 19th century.
