The Hermitage of San Sebastián del Raval in Xixona (Jijona) is a small, historic hermitage that was once an ordinary house. It is famous for a miracle attributed to San Sebastián during the plague of 1600, when the image of the saint wept and saved the people.
It became a place of worship and pilgrimage and is now a tourist attraction with a modest stone structure and an altarpiece of the saint, a symbol of faith and tradition in Xixona.
Origin: It was a private home belonging to Úrsula Morant and Francisco Soler.
