One of the oldest monuments in the Tirschenreuth district: The so-called "Bonifatius stone" in the cemetery in Kastl. Among other things, a cross with a circle around it can be seen on it. It is probably a tombstone, e.g. for a high priest from the 11th or 12th century. A similar stone can also be found in Wolframshof Castle. Bonifatius had a so-called Boniface stone set up wherever he was missionary as a sign of his work.
