The town hall and the city church behind it form the unmistakable silhouette of Schwabach's market square ("Königsplatz") and have become the trademark of the entire city.
After the renovation, which was completed in 2002, the town hall of Schwabach shines in new splendor.
The history of the town hall
The present town hall was built in 1528/29 and changed over and over again through renovations and extensions over the centuries. For example, the north wing was embellished in 1901-1904 by the placement of a decorative truss and the cultivation of a wood carving choir.

Schwabach is a gold club town. Gilded roofs are reminiscent of the old guild. Great market place.
