The castle Petzow has a varied history and is now privately owned. The owners have converted the castle into apartments and added several terraced houses in the courtyard. The magnificent and spacious garden of the listed castle is still not fenced, only the private areas are protected by hedges. Not far from the castle, you can also find the village church Petzow, which stands out for its unique architecture among the churches of Brandenburg.

The handsome castle is located in the midst of a wonderful landscape park, the design of which comes from the pen of the well-known landscape planner Lenné. The building itself was built by Carl Friedrich August Kaehne in 1825, 13 years before the surrounding park. Some German series and films use the location as a filming location.
