The town hall is connected to the Apostle Church or Hospital Church by a vaulted arch that forms the Brixner Gate. Architecturally noteworthy are the wide bay window and the balcony with the delicate railing on the main facade facing the Eisack as well as the small balcony above the entrance stairs.

Vandring

The building was built in 1467 as a rectory for the apostle church and served until 1843 as such. Later it became city hospital and school. In 1929 it was rebuilt to the town hall and seat of the city administration.
