The artwork is located on Ludwigstrasse, near the Rupprecht bookstore. Originally planned for this location, a fountain was intended to project water several meters into the air. However, this idea was not particularly popular with the homeowners, who feared the noise of the water splashing onto the pavement. Instead of a fountain, the designers opted for the "artwork with water" option. Following a competition held in 2007, the fountain was installed in the same year. The granite and bronze work depicts a relief of three fish leaping out of the water and a pondering figure.
