Not only home to the Bregenz Festival, but of course, it's THE highlight of the festival season. In 2024 and 2025, Carl Maria von Weber's "Der Freischütz" will be performed on the world's largest lake stage (7,000 seats). A magical setting and a spectacular performance. Anyone can access the auditorium during the day, but the stage design and a look behind the scenes are only available with a booked guided tour – also very worthwhile. Overall, it's fantastic and definitely worth a stop while driving by, even if you're not attending the performance anyway!
